BR3, Brasilian popular music (Brazil)

Trio guitar / vocals and percussion, BR3 was founded by three professional Brazilian musicians totally fanatic of brazilian music who lived in Paris.

is in November 28, 2005 at the ceremony of the Ballon d'Or who rewarded the famous Brazilian football player Ronaldinho that the band performed for the first time in public at the Espace Cardin concert hall in Paris.

Encouraged by the warm welcome of spectators and organizers very positive comments, the three musicians decided to  continue the adventure appearing more and more regularly on stage to the point of counting among the best interpreters of Brazilian music living in France within a few months. 

Whether in concert halls, bars / restaurants / music clubs, hotels, cabarets or private receptions,  the trio invites you to a musical journey across Brazil and makes you vibrate, the time of a show, on  the warm and colorful rhythms of Brazil. Samba, maracatu, bossa nova, pagode, xote, Baiao, forró are some of the traditional rhythms revisited by the group so that the audience  can appreciate the diversity and beauty of brasilian music.

Composed of world famous tunes from great brasilian musicians like Joao Gilberto, Vinicius de Moraes, Baden Powell, Jorge Ben Jor, Gilberto Gil, Caetono Veloso, Toquinho, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Chico Buarque, or Luiz Conzaga, their repertoire is characterized by its variety and its originality. Their secret wish: that Brazilian music resonates in the heart of a growing audience in a growing number of places.
