Spectacle Flamenco

Flamenco (cante flamenco) is a musical genre and dance created by the gypsy and Andalusian people, based on popular folklore from the various cultures that flourished over the centuries in Spain.

Originally, flamenco consisted of simple a cappella singing (cante), the first genre of which was the toná, established in the triangle formed by Triana, Jerez and Cadiz. Then came the clapping of hands (palmas), the dance (el baile) and the flamenco guitar (toque). Dance and guitar are now often performed on their own, although singing is still considered to be at the heart of the tradition.

The company

Flama Flamenca was founded by Marcelo Casco and Cristina Casco in 1999.

The company is made up of guitarists - singers - dancers - percussionists - flautists - prestigious accordionists.

All the artists share the same passion: to pass on the richness of their art and express themselves in a harmonious way.

Since then, the Flama Flamenca company has been performing in the purest art of traditional flamenco in France and abroad.

The traditional show is designed for all types of events: cabarets, festivals, works councils, weddings, cultural and professional events, neighbourhood parties, etc. With 3 to 12 artists depending on the chosen formula Since 2010, the Flama Flamenca Company has been producing its new show ‘IDA Y VUELTA’ (Back and forth). Flamenco - Latino fusion, bringing the richness of other cultures to Flamenco, such as ARGENTINIAN TANGO and CUBAN music. And integrating another instrument ‘the accordion’.
