Aim of the workshops
Our Afro-Brazilian dance workshops focus on learning original choreography inspired by different dance styles (orixàs, samba, samba reggae, Afro, etc.). They enable students to acquire the technical and rhythmic foundations they need to move forward in dance, while emphasising the search for well-being and harmony in rhythm and movement.
They are particularly aimed at those who want to make rapid progress in dance and who want to share the pleasure of dancing with others in a friendly atmosphere.

Workshop programme
The main dances studied are afro (orixás dance), samba and samba reggae.
As well as learning different dance styles, this workshop includes physical preparation for the dancer, aimed at improving technique, flexibility and harmony of movement.
Rhythmic exercises and improvisation are also included.
Practising dance to original and elaborate choreographies enables dancers to acquire the solid foundations they need to move rapidly through all styles of dance.
Preparing for the end-of-year show is an opportunity for dancers to experiment with the creative and social aspects of dance.
